Know Your Numbers
A Cardiovascular Disease Screening EventIntroduction
A Know Your Numbers Cardiovascular (Heart) Disease Screening Event is a community health initiative designed to raise awareness about heart health and encourage early detection of cardiovascular risk factors. In Cayman, these events are run by the Cayman Heart Foundation (CHF).
CHF can organise a ‘Know Your Numbers’ Cardiovascular Disease Screening Event for your church or community in Cayman. A CHF ‘Know Your Numbers’ event is free of charge (although we always welcome donations). In addition to screenings, we provide educational resources to help participants to understand their heart health status and take preventive action.
Our goal is to empower individuals with the knowledge and tools to reduce their risk of cardiovascular disease through early detection, lifestyle changes, and medical interventions when necessary.
